In Scouting Ministries, we serve with the church in partnerships that reach communities worldwide. The greatest part of this outreach is the relationships developed over time. A church’s investment in its community also helps the church.
Girl Scouts of the USA
The first Girl Scout Troop to be founded in a church was at a Methodist Church. That troop is still going today. We partner with Girl Scouts for the amazing skills, character, and female lead opportunities offered. Girl Scouts Faith-Based Initiative is just one example of the excellence of Girl Scouts.
Scouting America
Life lessons abound in Scouting America. It is not the perfect campouts that are remembered but the times when the weather was off, the food got burnt, or the mountain was steep. It is in the challenges that growth happens. We can be there carrying the faith that marks those moments and changes lives.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
Every church ought to reach into the community caring as Christ. Some congregations have become unable or unwilling. You don’t have to deny the call of Christ to go and make disciples if your church is struggling. Become a Big and change the life of a youth. It is a relationship you will cherish into eternity.

Faith Sharing Resources
The most critical call of the church is to make disciples. Whether your church has a partner ministry or not, the opportunity to share is always available. Your church and you can become the resource for building faith. The P.R.A.Y. programs teach basic faith in lessons designed for each age group. Many confirmation classes, Sunday Schools, and youth groups have used and shared the programs as well.
